RULES AND REGULATIONS
Please
read through the following rules and guidelines before submitting
your screenplay to THE SCREENPLAY SHOOTOUT! If you have
any questions or concerns, please contact us at information@HangmanProductions.com
- Entries for the 3nd Annual Screenplay ShootOut! must be postmarked
on or before June 30, 2008.
- Screenplays must be the original
works and the sole property of the applicant(s).
- Once a script
has been submitted no revisions or corrections will be accepted.
- Submitted screenplays must be unsold.
- Screenplays will not be
returned. Please keep a copy of your completed application for
your records.
- Each applicant will receive an email notification
confirming receipt of the applicant’s submission.
- If a
submitted screenplay becomes optioned or purchased between the
time of submission and the end of THE SCREENPLAY
SHOOTOUT!
the screenplay
will no longer be eligible for prizes.
- Employees of
Hangman Productions and their immediate families are not eligible,
nor are competition judges
and their
immediate families.
- The entry fee for all entries received before May 15,
2008 is $35 US per screenplay.
- The entry fee for all entries received before June 30,
2008 is $50 US per screenplay.
- Hardcopy submission must be accompanied
with payment in the form of a check or money order payable
to Hangman Productions – Screenplay
ShootOut!
- There is no limit to the number of
entries, but each entry must be accompanied by an entry
form
and fee.
- All submissions must be written
in English.
- Hangman Productions will not use the submitted
material or any part of the material
except in connection
with the Screenplay
ShootOut!
unless the applicant enters into an agreement
with the entrant granting the right to
use the material.
